Kallan Lyons
Originally hailing from Kingston, ON, Kallan spent her formative years in Toronto before moving to B.C. where she studied journalism at the University of British Columbia. She is an award-nominated magazine freelancer with bylines in the CBC, The Wren, Macleans, and Canadian Geographic, to name a few.
One of her most beloved pieces is a profile she did for Legion Magazine featuring her grandfather, who fought with the Royal Air Force in the Second World War. Kallan dipped her toes into audio during a six week internship at CBC, and is a long time listener of Canadaland. She is excited to learn how to execute an audio-first story that will resonate with all of you.
